You're getting pretty much what you are supposed to be getting for a 470HP sports car. Either take your foot off the gas or get something a little less powerful.

They’ve dropped around here a bit.

£1.46 per L when I bought it.
£2.12 per L is the highest I got to.
£1.79 per L on it’s last fill.

That’s all based on shell v power from the same local station

When gas here in the States went over $5.00 per US gallon a lot of folks just parked their cars. There is little else to do. It sucks but it it a downside of having such a powerful car. If it is a daily driver maybe it best to get something else for the time being.

And no cleaners will not help.

Stay off the gas hard. Make sure plenty of pressure in the tires. Drop your motorway speeds down to the lowest safe speed yiu can travel. Make sure your air filter is clean.

i have a ecoboost along with gt and I can tell u. The mpg between them are very close.

Check tire pressure, drive like grandma. Shift early. No junk in the trunk.
Its a Mustang, your numbers are actually ok.
