Pretty stupid limiting a sports car with 300hp+ to only 125mph just because the factory tires are not rated higher than that due to legal issues.

Ok so yea it's just your computer limiting you. Nothing wrong with your car at all. Just be careful with getting a tune. If ya do make sure you know a tune friendly dealer.

And at the toll road, pushing all the way the car would go (using 93oct), I was never able to go over 125mph. Same results on the way back...125 and not another mile over.

I am surprised that Pirelli Zero's are so "low" speed rated. I truly had the impression that they would be way more "reliable" and able to go at least 150 mph. Its not like I drive like this every day. I actually barely drive the car. But when I decided to drive 510 miles (one way), using the highest speed limit hwy in USA (HWY 130 in TX), I wanted to push to the max. 125 was a disappointment and taking in consideration that this could be because of the tires is actually scary. Of course, I did not planned in drive around 150 mph if it has gone (or even at 125) the whole distance on this toll road. I am talking about a "here and there" situation, just to have the feeling. But I am getting to understand more and more. That video was scary...can you imagine driving down the road? a car body damage would be nothing if they were driving down the road.

It's weird too putting such low speed rating tires on a sports car capable of doing more than 155mph. I would imagine at least W rated tires on all Mustangs. My GT has W rated P Zero all season tires.

I love the car. The way it handles and the looks but I am thinking now, that I want to get a GT350. I just placed an AD on Dallas Craigslist and lets see what happens. Anyway, regarding the speed that this tire can supposedly goes, after doing a google research (96W is 168MPH) and that makes me even more confused by this "125mph" limitation.

I don't know much about the turbo engines. At 125mph, is it running any boost? What's the RPM at that speed?

I don't actually know the specs of the Pirelli's. I tried looking for that data and got varying numbers from 130 to around 150. But generally speaking, if you have any sort of mishap at that speed, it won't be pretty.

Any other drivers out on the Toll running well over 100 ?

Tires do appear to be 168mph. 4-star rating on tire-rack. Not bad.

This is top of the google search:

Thanks to the added torque compared to the 3.7L V6, the EcoBoost Mustang will feature a top speed of 121 miles per hour and if you add the high performance Track Pack, the EcoBoost'd 2015 Mustang will reach an electronically limited top speed of 145 miles per hour.

I wonder if there is a difference between non-PP GT vs GT.

Almost certain the PP tires are rated for higher speeds, but I don't feel like looking it up right now. Both the cars below look like PP:

http://blog.caranddriver.com/perfor...mustang-gt-versus-2015-ford-mustang-ecoboost/
Performance Numbers: 2015 Ford Mustang GT versus 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost

EB: 149mph
GT: 164mph

nearly identical 70->0, surprising considering the GT is running 15" Brembos. Maybe the Brembos somehow stay cooler when doing that

Weight. The front tires are identical so similar maximum braking capability.
