These steps require cutting the middle vent hole to fit the gauge.

This method will only be applicable if you have the plug, no wire cutting or splicing.

How to find the plug?
1- The wire will be sitting/tucked behind the plastic that is behind the screen.
Plug.jpeg

2- You will need to remove the bezel, and the screen to reach to the wire, check the videos below on how to reach to it. Just watch the removal part of the video to reach to the wire:
A) For base model (Small screen), first 10 minutes: CLICK HERE
B) For premium model (Big screen), first 10 minutes: CLICK HERE

Notes: (BASED ON MY RESEARCH, PLEASE CONFIRM):
1- Model (2015-2017):
A) Base model (Base cluster with no mycolor):
- i. Mycolor will not work, you can’t enable it using FORSCAN.
- ii. Oil pressure will need tune to let it work look at the picture below for tuning.
- iii. V6 mustang: Will need a tune and forscan IPC As-built programming (720-02-01: XXXX XXXX X7).
B) Premium model (Premium cluster with my color / Digital cluster / If you swapped your cluster):
- i. My color will work fine, enable it using FORSCAN if not enabled.
- ii. Oil pressure will need tune to let it work, look at the picture below for tuning.

2- Model (2018-2023):
A) Base model (Base cluster with no mycolor):
- i. Mycolor will not work, you can’t enable it using FORSCAN.
- ii. Make sure oil pressure is enabled in FORSCAN.
B) Premium model (Premium cluster with my color / Digital cluster / If you swapped your cluster):
- i. My color will work fine, enable it using FORSCAN if not enabled.
- ii. Make sure oil pressure is enabled in FORSCAN.

You will need to buy:
- Performance pack gauge and bezel

Steps:
1- Reach the harness, watch the removal part only from these videos:

A) Model:
- i. Base model (Small screen), first 10 minutes: CLICK HERE
- ii. Premium model (Big screen), first 10 minutes: CLICK HERE
B) Pull the plug to the middle vent.

2- Cutting (The most annoying part):
A) Cut the areas in the image (Cutter will be useful).
Cut.jpeg

*You will need to make a room for the gauge, the clips should go inside the two as shown in the picture. Also, you will need to make a room for the 2 vents.
*This is what it looks like inside of a performance pack dashboard:

B) Optional: Cover the middle vent.

3- Installing the dash:
A) Install the wire and install the dash.

Note:
MyColor will not work on daylight, only at night or in shaded area.

Good luck!

I did it on my 23 Base 301A car, all worked including mycolor. Found guages at salvage yard. Guages cost me 350. dollars.

Are the two outer of the three vents in the same location as the two vents with the PP gauges?

No, thats why you will need to cut a little bit from each vent as shown in the picture above to fit the PP dash trim.

What app and hardware is needed to do the tune?

I am interested to keep my tune stock, but I guess if I could I would change only one parameter to get the gauges working.

I do have a 2015 V6

Hptuners, the image that I provided above wont tune your engine, it will only send the oil pressure signal to the gauges, nothing to worry about. Check with a professional tuner if they can do it for you, such as lundracing. But, first check if you have the plug behind your screen.

What if you don’t have the plug . I was told that 2016 Gt premiums didn’t come with the plug. Where can you get a plug and also my car is tuned already will the oil gauge work? Thanks new to all of this

How to install PP gauges on a non PP car:

Trade the car for one that comes with them. Lol

No offense to anyone but that's how stubborn I am. I wouldn't have bought my GT without it being a PP or my Mach 1 without it being an HP but at least there are write ups like these for people that want to take on the job.

Since there isn’t an easy way to install the OEM gauges on the V6, I went with the traditional installation with GlowShift gauges and an oil sandwich adapter.

I noticed there are different
Gauges that they sell with the performance pack. One has oil pressure and boost/vacuum… Another has oil pressure and temperature… Which ones are compatible with a 2019 GT? And if the car becomes supercharged…think a boost gauge could replace the vacuum gauge from an ecoboost?

PP cars have the oil pressure and vac. I believe the GT350 gauges had the oil temp. I think oil temp would be more useful that anything else but from what I've read most cars should be plug and play for oil pressure and vac but not the temp. I do like those glow shift gauges, they fit in quite well with the digital dash color matched. To anyone not in the know they'd have no idea they were not the OEM PP gauges.

Mustang ecoboost will have: Oil pressure and vacuum/boost.
Mustang GT 2015-2017: Oil pressure and vacuum/boost.
Mustang GT 2018-2023: Oil pressure and vacuum only.
Mustang GT350: Oil pressure, oil temperature.
Mustang GT500: Oil pressure, oil temperature

If you added supercharge, you should take like the GT500
For me, I took mach 1 gauges, they are like the normal mustang GT.

So I have the GT. I already used forscan to change the vacuum dash digital gauge to show vac/boost. If I install an ecoboost gauge set (oil pressure and boost), would it register proper if I install the performance pack gauges?

I corrected the post
Mustang GT 2015-2017: Oil pressure and vacuum/boost.
Mustang GT 2018-2023: Oil pressure and vacuum only.
I think it will work properly, but I guess it will always stay in the vacuum side, since there is no turbo boost.
Kindly check some videos of 2015-2017 Mustang GT PP POV videos to see how the gauge works of the vac/boost in them, to see if my theory is right.
