Has anyone changed out the factory oil pressure and vacume gauges to an aftermarket brand? I'm looking for ideas and if possible are there any plug and play options.
Thanks!

It's possible, but you could also swap them for the GT350 gauges, which include oil pressure and oil temp. That's a factory option that's plug and play, though you'll sacrifice the color changing gauge option.

I think the Ecoboost Performance Package has oil temp and boost, so that's an option, as well.

I just looked at that and. They're not quite what I'm after. I'm looking to have something that is more digital and analog mix to give me a different look than what you usually see. Thanks for that thought though!

Hey, Let me what you find out. I looked into replacing my PP1 gauges and really didn't see any nice looking options. Good Luck

Sure thing, I'll keep you informed if I find something. I've been bouncing manufacturers about it as well but haven't gotten to far with that.

Not quite what you asked for, but Saleen has created a top-of-dash mount for three gauges. Saw it at Fabulous Fords in Irwindale a month ago.

Yeah, I've looked at those. They look nice but unfortunately not what I'm after. I appreciate the input though!

Im adding mechanical oil pressure and oil temperature gauges to my car. Both are Autometer 2-1/16 with the glowshift bracket made for the center gauges.

Can you send me pictures when your installed? And I'm guessing your not plug and play, but where are you routing your hardware. Thanks!

You are correct, it is not plug and play, I will add an adaptor to the factory oil pressure sensor location, that will allow me to use the factory sensor along with my mechanical pressure an temperature sender.

From what I have read, an access area is in the right fender well from the engine bay to the inside of the car.

I will follow up later on today with part numbers and pictures of what I have for the installation.

Okay sounds good. I appreciate it. I do have the sound symposer deleted myself. Which I wonder if that would be an easy access through the firewall.

It should work for an access point.

May I ask why?
Sure, I do not like the factory gauges, vacuum is useless. Really both are because they are using algorithms and signals for the readings not actual measurements. Personally I like mechanical gauges.
