I used 10 quarts and then put around 300 ml of liqui moly, that’s not too much is it? I was just trying to get rid of that awful Tick.

Yes, it's too much.

The car takes 10 quarts, and not a bit more.
Why would you start with 10.5 quarts, and then add even more?

I'd rather run 2 qts low than 1 qt over.

Because 10 quarts didn’t even show on the dip stick
You need to use logic.

The engine takes 10 quarts. You put 10 quarts in.

That's all there is to it.

Hello; Did you change the filter? If so the filter elements will soak up some oil. Much depends on how big the filter is itself. That may be where some of the oil goes.

A problem use to be with too much oil that the rotating crank shaft would whip the oil in the oil pan into a froth. The oil would become loaded with air bubbles.

OP; Here is what I would do. Park the car on a level surface overnight. Check the oil when cold.

Ya the 10quarts ford says with filter. Its not a big deal i run it like that.
The filter doesn’t hold half a quart

It was all the way down the tube and it was on a level surface, it should have about 10.85 quarts in there, the oil pressure gauge and everything reads good. Do you think I should do another oil change or will it be fine? I’ve read of here about people putting 10.5 quarts in there car then adding 2 bottles of the liqui moly and their cars were fine, so that’s why I was guessing it would’ve been okay.
Hello; as with everything else you can run as much oil as you wish, but since you have asked it is not good to overfill. Air in the oil if the crank can whip it up into a foam like state. Air bubbles can mess with oil pressure is one guess.
I think it was a worse problem with the conventional oil and maybe not quite so bad with synthetic. The foam would cook off and leave deposits I think. That is from memory so may be wrong.

Check the oil after the car sits overnight and is cold. Just a little over filled on the dipstick may not be too bad , but a full quart likely is too much. 500 ml is about half a quart.

Hello; yes I prefill my oil filters during an oil change. The bigger one for my truck does not take a half quart.

As long as the oil level is in between the hash area then it is OK, no need to measure down to the teaspoon. My advice is check the oil after it has been running but sitting for 10 min and if its not above the high mark on the dipstick I wouldn't even give it another thought.
