Mine hasn't consumed any oil in 3K miles so far with M1 0/30. Changed the factory oil at 1,128 miles, and no consumption either. I broke it in mostly by the book, but not ideally, since I had to travel home. In addition, car already had 66 miles, so the critical break-in (first 50 miles) was already done. And no tick yet; hope both stay that way
