I added it up awhile back but haven't kept track lately, however at this point it's over $90k.

The title clearly implies AFTER buying the car, so leave the car out :D. I've spent $1,573 so far, but I'm close to done.

I bought my current Mustang in April, and it has 309 miles on it right now. I've installed:

Barton Shifter - $475
Eibach 1" spacers - $250
Koni Yellows - $650
BMR SP083 - $250

Total of $1625 so far. Still want tint, wheels, and more power.

Not much at all. :bandit: Somewhere in the couple of hundred baby, hundred dollars. No, not 3 grand, really. Just a few hundred. I had gift certificates for some and found some stuff on clearance. Really :whew:

I think I have one of the most expensive Mustangs on here. Due to our 150% car taxes here in Denmark, I started at 110k USD OTD. I've stopped counting a long time ago, but I'm close to 130k now. Anything from the US, I have to multiply by roughly 1,3, due to shipping and import taxes.
But I have not used a single dime on it, that I didn't already have in my pocket.

So far,.......not much. lol
The car itself cost me a pretty penny so I'm still paying it off and with this Chinese virus screwing everything up, I'm on furlough, but working only 2 days a week and collecting unemployment insurance benefits.
The only 2 things I bought for it so far are the Sto N Go front license plate holder and just today my buddy @Jmeo installed the red White Madness Garage Shifter for me.
So far about 250 bucks. lol :giggle:

I do have big plans for the car though. Just waiting for full time employment again and to pay the car off, which is going to be earlier than expected.

I've been "close to done" for about 3 years now.

I've got around $16k in modifications done to my '08 including tires but not counting fluids and a few minor odds and ends. That averages out to only a little over $1300/year, so the financial sting has never been all that bad.

However, the mod I have in mind next is going to hurt that low average annual cost (no, it's not forced induction).
