lol i have no complaints about traffic. 2 hours a day, lovin every minute of it. some people just dont like shifting the car for themselves, and that's just fine. enjoy your slushboxes.

Does the PP equipped Mustang not perform as well at the drag strip as the non-PP equipped car if all else is the same? Thanks and sorry for being so long-winded.
The PP packs on around 70lbs of extra weight (*see the What Things Weigh thread) compared to the base model. The extra weight may not be desirable if you are a drag racer.
The base model will allow you to run 17 inch Racestar front rims for your skinnies unlike the PP which needs a 18 inch front rim due to the larger front brakes. This helps save a few lbs of rotational weight.

For the 3.73 PP guys, are you shifting into 5th near the end of the 1/4 mile?

This guy ran well with his 3.55 MT:

As long as you're having fun!

I work from home and only drive about 8,000 per year. I have always preferred a manual in a sports car. I don't really have to deal with traffic very much so that isn't really a factor for me. I have plenty of time to figure things out before I pull the trigger. I appreciate everyone's input.
