I use:

P&S Brake buster

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0779KHK24?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Mainly cause it's good and it's one product for both tires and rim.

after that it's a combo of the following items in water with a little bit of brake buster in it.

long skinny brush for barrels
Small hand held brush for lugs
Hand brush mittens for face/crannies
a black wet microfiber for any spots I miss

I also have learned to not expect perfection when it comes to cleaning these rims. I do best I can within the time I have and try my best. Ceramic coating does help.
This product works very well for me as well!

First off, yes, I'm going to get my wheels ceramic coated eventually. But for now, what is everyone using to clean their wheels? These things are a b*tch to clean! I can't seem to ever get all the brake dust off in the nooks and crannies. Is there a safe cleaner for these painted wheels?
Hi, i made a video about car detailing including cleaning the HP wheels, it's on my YouTube channel " ICE Mach 1"

hope that helps

Mckees 37 Autowash soap in a water bottle (14 oz water, 2 oz autowash) and Rag Company's Eagle edgeless microfiber.

Spray the wheels, then spray the Autowash, wash with the microfiber, rinse, and then use a detail spray on them.

The wheels are ceramic coated, so that makes it very easy to clean.

I also wipe down the rotors with rubbing alcohol using a wetted down thin microfiber. This gets rid of any water spots and any overspray from the detailer.

I highly recommend ceramic coating. Both sets of HP were coated right out of the box and Ive had zero issues with soap and water. Both new sets of APEX forged are being coated now.

I did see that you were wanting to coat your wheels, Carpro is not expensive and your wheels have to be perfectly clean before application. Unfortunately you will spend more time cleaning and paint correcting your wheels that have already been used.
