Couldn’t find a video on how to remove these. Not sure if there is an airbag on the top side. Thanks.

To remove the panel in the first pic, just pull it straight out. Here is a pic of mine removed.

To remove the second panel, use a small pic or jeweler’s screwdriver to pry open the cover in the center of the hood release handle. Once you’ve done that, take a deep well 10MM socket and insert it into the hole for the hood release handle to depress the tangs holding it onto its shaft and then pull the latch handle off. Remove the weather stripping (pull off) and door sill trim plate by pulling straight up, followed by the panel that you want to remove (pull panel out to release the one push pin on the backside and then pull panel back to release two metal clips).

I can get you a pic of the backside of the second panel tomorrow morning, so you’ll be able to see the push pin that holds it in place.

Okay, here are the pics of the driver’s side kick panel. Note: You will notice that I have drawn on one area in red. That is because I shaved off what I’l refer to as the standoff from my panel to facilitate installing something else behind it. Yours should have the standoff with a C-channel in it, to hook onto a white push pin Thst comes into the body of the car. Once you pull out on the panel, the pin should free itself from the body, after which you will pull the panel back to release the two metal clips from their slots.

The door sill plate has to be removed first before the kick panel can be removed.

Jokes aside, pull those panels out fairly fast.
Slowly pulling them out seems to break the clips. Hate and love these fasteners at the same time.

If you google how to remove the dash, and how to remove hood latch release, there are tons of videos on how to remove both pieces.
