How do I do donuts/drift

O/P. I'd wait till a rainy day and find a large parking lot that is empty and void of lamp post and try it with the lot surface damp/wet to get a feel for it and how fast the car will rotate.
It is not safe to do these things but I understand .
Use caution and common sense.
Back in the day if you got caught you might get a warning or a fine. Today they are not as kind.
To me it isn't worth it as they will throw the book at you if caught today .
But, it is your driver's license to add points to or get taken away from you for 6 to 12 months .

ground was basically dry but I somehow found a spot in the city. I need lots more practice but I'm addicted. I think I was way too scared to turn tight enough and give enough gas for my first time

yep lol I kind of realized that after watching the vid my friend took. The place looked a lot bigger before starting It was a donut with only 1 wheel spinning

This guy has a lot of video’s of learning to drift a mustang and also his progress in drifting. Go and do a couple of skid pan days or local track days will help you get a feel of your car and learn how it reacts.

I've been to dominion raceway but it's only track attack and hdpe, I'll see if any place offers skid pan days

Get to know the local airport people. Lots of tarmac to play on when you can get it closed.

Serious question, do I just turn the steering wheel all the way one way, and dump the clutch? Can I already have it rolling in 1st gear and then stomp it? Never done anything like this but would like to learn lol

My advice is don't learn how to drift in your Mustang- it could be expensive if you mess up, and while you're learning you probably will a few times. I learned when I was 16 in a beat up '66 Fairlane on the salt flats in Nevada.
It takes a while to get a feel for it, but once you do it's like riding a bike. Gotta balance power, steering angle and feel the centrifugal force, then have them all work together. You'll know when you hit the sweet spot.
