Why go the simulator route when you can get a controller? Not a ton more (as I assume you need two of those) and you retain valve functionality.

This controller works well as mentioned by several here. Over-priced but it works.

I tried a trick earlier this evening by pushing in the clutch and switching it to on and it started in loud mode. The controller is easily removed in the event you sell your car later as nothing is permanently altered.

I took the car to a show today. I thought turning the car on first and then switching the valves on would force it to start loud. Wrong... It starts like a Camry, pauses, and then opens the valves. This is the worst way to start her up. Does anyone have any tricks? Can I pump the throttle before starting?
Why would you ask that question rather than going outside and pumping the throttle to see if it worked?

Why would you post this question instead of not? A lot of useless posting I guess

If I bought a used car with something like that I would consider it worse than buying a lemon or a rebuilt title. It would destroy all faith I had in the previous owner regardless of explanation. I can't find it in me to do stuff like that
I got the simulators and a jumper harness. My valves are open 100% of the time, and it can be set back to stock at any time. No wires were cut or was any part of the vehicle harmed. It was a lot easier (and cheaper!) than buying a complete exhaust system, which I had to do for every other car. I wish I could make it quieter sometimes, but then I also wish I could make it louder sometimes too.
