There are many options out there, but the graphic below shows why the geometry of our system is the best:

In addition our system does not require you to loosen both hood hinge nuts so there is no concern with the hood alignment.

Hood alignment isn't a concern for me. Drilling the cowl plastic gives me the shits though.

Ehh, it's easy, if you have the template. Took me all of two minutes to remove, drill, and reinstall.

I wasn't saying it was hard lol. But it's ugly as hell to me. And when I have to get to the battery, another PITA

Cut a slit from the hole you drill outwards and the battery cover comes right off without removing the struts. Really simple and you barely notice the slit or the hole. Honestly when you pop the hood to show anyone they are going to be looking at the engine, not the battery cover or the small hole you drilled in it.

I just put my redline's on this weekend and couldn't be happier, great product! JLT painted them to match and they look as great as they perform!

I understand. I still would notice the hole and slit. It's just the way I'm wired. I ordered the inferior Lifetime Warranty powder coated CPC kit. I just couldn't stand the hood prop anymore, my damn 92 Galant Vr4 has hood struts

This. Their customer service is the best I've experienced of any company in this industry. Their parts are great, and I'd buy from them again in a heartbeat.

I too have the Ford P's and recently did a car show, where my hood was open for the better part of 6hrs with high winds and they did a great job.
Great price and they look great.

FP has sucky lower fender attachments. I screwed one up and the cheap assed nut washer things they use gives way with less torque then they require. I bought a pair of the lower attachments from Redline problem solved. You can mix and match as I understand it the FP were made by Redline, but I could be wrong.
