Mine came off when the blower went on...needed the extra clearance. No issues. Can’t say if there is any more noise than before and after but you certainly do hear the DI injectors regardless . I actually like that mechanical clackity Clack noise.

if I wanted a living room soft and quiet car I would have purchased a camry Lol
