Picked up my GT350 last monday. Didn't notice till today that my hood is about 1/8"+ lower than the fender on the passenger side. Can the hood hinge be adjusted for height? Just asking before the dealer tries to give me some BS. It's fine at the front but gets lower as it goes towards the hinge.

I have one side of my hood that is a little low but decided to let it go - it's not that low however. I should think the dealer body shop could adjust it without much issue - curious to hear if anyone has had it done as it's probably not real uncommon.

Gonna stop by dealer tomorrow and see what they say.
Only reason I noticed it was I had PPF done today and when inspecting the PPF I noticed it.

Accept and move on. I have yet to see a hood that fit perfectly for these cars. Even the 2020 GT500 isn’t excluded from lousy hood fitment.

My 2016 ecoboost hood sucked, my 16 GT350 hood sucked, my 19 GT350 hood sucks. Dealers were no help. It is what it is for these cars. Also both my jeeps had horrible good alignment (2011,2015). Kicker is that my wife's Hyundai 's hood is perfect....lol

Don't look at the rear bumper either, it'll scare you even more.

I work in a body shop and I see aluminum panels frequently. A lot of the time the hoods and fenders just don’t seem to fit well. At least when it comes to American cars, I am working on a Audi Q7 now and it is all aluminum and it fits up pretty nice. If your hood is pretty bad about the only thing that could be done is putting a shim between the hingers and hood.

Mine is a hair off as well. Also the rear bumper looks half-assed. I'm not complaining, I knew what I was getting into...

Mine is a 2019 GT350. Hood is off a bit in the same location as the OP's. I'm leaving it alone. It's a Mustang, not a German made car!

The problem is its a Mustang that costs as much as a German made car. Interesting enough I stopped by a dealer that had a GT500 CFTP car, the body panel alignment was beautiful. The cost for this in a Mustang is apparently $105K MSRP or $140K with ADM.

As others have said, we all knew what we were getting into. Sighs as he watches his Ford stock tank even further...

You can get the front to align pretty easy with the bumper stop adjustment. Like Big Ernie says, the best way to align the rear is with a shim, if you want it perfect.

I’ve heard about the fitment issues for a while now.
I work with body shops and see fitment adjustments all the time, it’s what they do upon replacing panels.
That said....A few months ago I went and looked at a new GT350 my local dealership got in just to see if it fit me, it does. While looking, I checked all the body panels, they were all spot on. I guess the one and only car I inspected was correct. Go figure.
Running your finger down all the gaps will tell more that just a visual inspection BTW.
