does anyone have the issue of the hood fluttering up and down on high windy days or when a big truck meets you on the freeway?

Yup. The aluminum on the hood is super, super thin to save weight. This is "normal".

Most common on the 2015-2017; adjust the hood bumpers and place plastic or other material over top of the headlights (when looking under the hood, you will see what is meant by that).

There's quite a few earlier threads on here discussing the hood flutter when it was first picked up on new 2015 deliveries.

Due to the 2018+ redesign, the hood was sloped downward, which reduced the potential for lift at high straight away speeds or from those larger passing vehicles.

It still lifts on the 18+ even in early review shots of the Mach1 the hoods clearly lifting

Haven't experienced any hood flutter on my 17. When meeting semis though any hood will do crazy things. Guess its a built on monday/friday car thing.

Flutter is much improved on the 2018 and up cars though. Rarely ever happens.

Super thin? This is one of the heaviest hoods I ever had. My 2013 Accord hood was lite.
There's a lot of structure sandwiched in between extremely thin aluminum.

Exactly as stated...

If a 2018+ hood is fluttering/lifting like that of the prior Gen (15-17), then the hood bumpers need adjusting. My 2018 has not lifted or fluttered at all, on highway or when larger vehicles create a passing vacuum.

Really ? Mine weights 35lbs I think. My 70 monte carlo hood was probably around a 100 haha.

I think so, the hood on the Accord was so lite that when I would close it I had to drop it from 3 ft to close otherwise it would not close. I could also hold it open with just a few fingers.

Here's my hood closing from about 4 inches height. Also held up with just a few fingers

If you think this is heavy, you've never opened a 70's mid or full sized car hood. At least double what the lightweight aluminum Mustang hood weighs. That's why Fiberglass hoods became popular back then.
