Very sad. Last night I was going around a corner in the rain when I hydroplaned and hit the curb sideways. It took a chunk out of my rim, but what I'm more worried about is the suspension. The left side seems to be poking out while the right side is leaning slightly inward toward the car. Any ideas of what could be broken or bent?

Which side actually hit the curb?

You'll need to get the car up in the air and inspect the suspension but it looks like you now have some unintended positive camber on the left wheel from the hit.
Also looks like you have a ton of neg camber on the right wheel, not at all a good sign.

You may have force the camber bolt to full positive when you hit the curb. Inspect and align. It may have shifted the whole subframe over too.

all it needed was a new wheel, alignment, and tire balance! Thank you mustang gods:D

Fuck, so I get it back from the tire shop today and hear a whine coming from the rear differential. I take it back and have them lift it up and you can definitely feel some slop and gears grinding when you rotate the wheels if you put your hand on the diff.

I nailed a curb in a similar fashion (just Mustang things, you know) and it caused a substantial amount of damage to the suspension, but the diff was perfectly fine. I would run this one by the dealer and see what they say.

Did you find out what was the whining noise of a fix?
