I just bought a 2016 gt premium and I believe it's been lowered but can't tell. It has 20's on it currently and clearance from fender to tire is just under 3/4 inch. I believe it rides a little rougher than some I've drove too. Any help appreciated.

Oem springs are black and satin colored. If your springs are colored they are most likely after market. Same with struts/shocks. Someone with 20” wheels may chime in as to the look of it. If you can borrow a PP 19” wheel set you’d get a better look and certainly a more comfortable ride than 20” just alone.

That absolutely looks lowered to me. The front is lower than mine on the track handling pack.

That is one pretty 2016 there Mr. Mike. My favorite GT year. Enjoy it.

Thanks man. I've had it since new and I still love it.

So I wiggled under rear and found a number on the springs. They are black with a number ebs-23r google says "accelatec"?
any advice on these? Should I change them?

I had a Magnetic 401A 2016 auto I loved. Had the FP street kit, Bilsteins and PP2 tune and pp1 wheels. Loved it.

That’s 1.5” drop front 1.0״ rear. Personally, I’d just change to PP1 wheels and tires (19”) and see how it looks. It’ll improve your ride and then see if you need to change anything else.

I LOVE the gimmicky hood turn signals!! 🤩 So pointless but I really think it was a neat touch and nice attention to detail that Ford threw them on for 2016.

19” made a huge difference for me when I lowered mine. It was with airlift but still, ride was much improved

I went from 19” to 20” wheels and didn’t notice any real change in ride quality. I do try to be more aware of holes in the road though.

Especially if they’re cheap cast 20s . I’d swap the springs out with something which is minimum lowering and put some 24# lightweight 19” wheels on it (and better tires). It would feel like an entirely new car.
