I can't get into my trunk. The latch seems to be broken. When I press the button on the dash on or the key fob, the lights blink (i.e. signal received), but the latch does not activate (no sound from it at all).

Any ideas on how to open the trunk?

I know there is a mechanical pull inside the trunk. Can I remove the rear seats to get to it?

Any help is appreciated.

Just fold the rear seat down and slide in there to see if the manual latch works. No need to actually remove the seat.

OP has a vert. Seats don't fold down like the coupes.

Left Rear seat cushion. Towards the upper portion almost at top. Pull cushion to the side and there is a key cylinder. Use your key from your fob. It is to manually open the trunk.
It is in the manual somewhere

Southview is right. I got this same advice on a post on a 550 Facebook board.

The rear seat back on the driver's side pulls to the side and there is a key receptacle under there that the manual key fits in. That opened the truck.

Thanks
