I cannot for the life of me get this plug out to check to see if the pin for the heated/cooled seats is blown. I'm right at the edge for throwing the whole car away. Somebody please save my sanity and tell me how i can possibly remove this connector

See the tab?

Yes. I pushed it and pulled and nothing. I thought maybe there's something else i gotta press that I'm missing. I even broke the whole tab off (since I'm gonna replace it anyways) and it still isn't sliding out

It pivots. You will need to work a flat screwdriver in there and pry on the tab to pivot it away from the catch.

Well, you might have bungered it up too much. Try pushing down on the connector to seat it in as far as it can go, then try to pry the tab and then pull up.

Might be melted in place.
Totally agree. If the lock is broken off and it still will not come out, it’s likely melted in place. You will probably need to replace the module AND the connector end of that harness, AND find out why it happened in the first place, AND fix what caused it.

If that's the case, it gives you a nice sense of freedom in using larger and more aggressive tools to remove it.

If it's melted in place, where would I find the module? The number on it is BU5T-14B663-AB. Is this something I can do? Or is it something that needs to be programmed?

See if you can get some small precision / jewelers screwdrivers in there and pry evenly from both sides at the same time.

Spray some dry silicone lube down there first to help things along first.
