Always muddying the waters Mike.Iām not convinced that gesi is better than oem boosted cats.
Just kidding.Lots of cats failed on Roush cars running the Roush cal. Lots of Whipples as well. Not sure about procharger but I canāt imagine it being any betterAre we saying that the stock cats can still fail with a supercharger on an otherwise stock car, running the included calibration?
FWIW, got a couple of guys on Camaro6 forum pushing 1000-1100 WHP through a pair of the GESI Gen2 cats for a while now. They seem to be a nice improvement over the Gen1 versions.Iām not convinced that gesi is better than oem boosted cats.
Iāve always felt the same as you until these new Gen2 GESI units came out last year. Rated at 850 WHP *each* IIRCā¦very impressive. Guess weāll see over the long haul obviously.OEM cats are way more robust than any aftermarket offerings.
