I'll start by saying my car will not be seeing a track much at all. Maybe twice a year. I'm looking for a suspension that I can drive coast to coast in and still be comfortable.

I currently have the stock PP1 suspension and find it to be too soft. I don't mind the ride becoming firmer but I don't want it too stiff. I also do not want to slam the car on the ground, not a fan of the tires tucking under the fender wells.

Here is what I'm thinking so far, If you think there is something better let me know.

Option 1- Full Ford Performance track kit

Option 2- Ford track dampers with BMR springs. Either the minimal drop springs or the performance springs.

Option 3- Steeda everything. Thinking I would get sport progressives and then do there smallest spacer front and rear. Would also get there dampners, sway bars, camber plates.

Option 4- RTR tactical suspension. Springs, sways and dampers.

steeda progressive springs/shocks and a few other bits. car rides amazing for a lowered car. I am extremely happy after having many cars lowered on eibach pro kits. steeda are by far a better setup.
you don't need spacers. I have 20x10/11's and no spacers needed. I did do camber plates on front tho.

Shelby gt350 194# front springs, Ford Racing front struts, Koni Active rear shocks, sway bars front and rear set of your choice- Steeda, Ford Racing, etc. You will have what you want.

I was talking about the steeda suspension spacers that raise the car. So for example the 1 inch lowering springs with a 1/4" spacer would only lower the car 3/4".

yup. get it but why lower then put spacers on. either use steeda progressives or use their min drop springs if you don't want that much drop.

FYI - Corrosion pits are the last thing you want on a cold-wound (high tensile residual stress) suspension spring made from CrSi or CrVa alloy wire. Steeda doesn't warranty corrosion and I've had terrible experience with their springs rusting compared to OEM and other aftermarket suppliers like Eibach, Ford Performance, and BRM. Whatever lowering springs you choose for your desired ride height, keep your spring rates and roll rates balanced front-to-rear to maintain manageable over/understeer characteristics.

After disappointment with three sets of aftermarket dampers I'd do the full Ford Performance Option 1.

You just know it works with no QC or durability issues. Try some 10 MM spacers for slightly more wheel poke that closes the visual fender gap a lot.

Thanks I’m thinking the same thing. Would you mind saying what the 3 aftermarket brands were that you tried and didn’t like?

I have the BMR minimum drop springs with Bilstein B6 dampers. This combo has been great on road trips from TX to Tail of the Dragon and the Sturgis Mustang Rally, while handling better than stock.

Others here have reported issues with the Bilsteins (not sure if they changed them or made a bad batch or what), but I expect the Ford Track dampers would perform similarly with the BMR springs.

Do you have any pictures of the stance of your car with those BMR minimum drop springs? Also why did you choose Bilstein over the Ford dampers?

Ford track pack user here. Drove the car back from Florida to NY with the stock suspension. Rode great and felt great, nothing much to notice with a 40 sidewall.

Just did the track pack install earlier this year. Handles way better, more responsive etc and I also daily the car in warm months. For me its mostly decent highways to and from work, I know the spots to miss on the highway that haven't been repaired. It is definitely not the floaty semi caddy ride with stock GT suspension, but i don't think I'd have a problem driving back down the coast with this setup. Obviously with the springs and dampers I do notice the rougher roads and sometimes the crowning of the roads, and also do have to be careful of the angle I reverse from some driveways, but I wouldn't go back.

One thing I'm starting to notice is everyone that buys the track kit seems to really like it. Where other suspension kits have mixed reviews. I was mainly worried it didn't lower the car enough, but I have had some people send me pictures of the stance it has and I think it looks really nice.

Feel free to post some pictures of the way your car sits on these springs if you want. Maybe this thread can help others out in the future.

I have pretty much decided I'm going to buy the track kit at this point and go figure everyone is sold out of the full kit. But I will make sure I right up a review and post pictures of the way the car sits when I am done.

Word of warning though, I got extremely lucky, but overpaid for the kit. The wait times on it are ridiculous. I have seen people stating its been 6+ months waiting for it. I originally ordered mine through jegs, and after a month of them pusing the delivery times I broke down and bought the last package steeda had, yet at $400 to 500$ markup. But I also hate buying things and having to wait an absorbent amount of time for them.
