I just ordered BMR SP083 Handling springs with Ford racing handling struts and shocks. Should be bad ass combo with BMR spring rate. 300F/980R
I hope you use this for track use only and a smooth track at that. That's a high spring rate in the front and rear. Let us know your driving impressions after install - let the rattles begin... I'd be surprised if anyone could daily drive with a spring rate that high.

Oh, it will be firm, no doubt.

However, I think you may be surprised at what he thinks when he provides feedback.

I spent a few days putting quite a bit of track and road mileage on the same springs with OEM PP Struts and Shocks...and I wouldn't be surprised to see people actually saying they love them. I don't, on those PP dampers....but we shall see.

Of course, the Bilstein and Koni offerings are going to be a better match for them, but I think the FRPP Track Dampers control the oscillation enough to make it not unbearable.

FWIW, these springs from a GT350 are about 915 lb/in.

Those cars don't ride that bad at all....and our rear springs only add about 20lb/in wheel rate, for comparison.

The front is where we ramped up the wheel rates substantially - but just like the S197, the front springs tend to not add as much harshness with wheel rate increase as the rear springs do.

The GT350R comes with a 240lb/in front spring. I am curious if they tested 300+ lb/in springs. Not modeled...but real on track testing.

For another comparison, a 2013/2014 GT500 Track Pack car with a similar front suspension (strut/shock) came stock with a 260lb/in spring. ;)

Well I just checked ups tracking and is been dropped off by the door. I am still at work right now and leaving around 3:30PM to go to dealer and pick up my strut bolt and nut kit and will go straight home to install the front struts. I have to take off my MM camber caster plates to transfer them on the new setup. I have the autozone shitty spring compressor and I know is going to give me problems specially with the front springs being 300lbs (:

Will do the back tomorrow. trying to get the car ready for my 1000 mile trip on wed so I can put some good miles on the new setup before I get an alignment.

I also have my steeda bump steer kit new sitting in my room. I like to install it but I cant find any proper alignment shop that specialize in these kind of things.

Holy shit! I just noticed you said they are GT350R spring at 240 and the R is straight up track beast.

I hope the FRPP struts can keep up with the 300LB beast.

The 300lb springs are pretty stiff, no doubt.

But....they are very short, so they wont be as hard as you think. Or shouldn't be.

Can't wait for you to put this to the test!

Welp...

Personally, I am not a fan of "generic" packages.

Then again, we cater more towards a smaller market that is looking for specific characteristics - not just generic performance.

This is why you will see our parts cater to more people.

(3) kinds of vertical Links
Many different Cradle/Diff solutions
(3) Different sets of springs for various purposes and even a front only specific spring for stock rear spring users.

Etc.

That said, I have thought about putting together a package that I design based on my thoughts of the car....but, everyone is different.
Here's what I'd like to see...

Put together the "this is what Ford should have done with the Performance Package" package. All up. After market dampers. All the settings. Docile at-the-limit handling. The perfect balance of back road silliness and daily driver acceptable. (Lets err on the side of Camaro 1LE except with a good looking car inside and out).

You could do the same for "best road course track time" and "best 1/4 track time".

My $.02
Will add to this with my wish list:
"Best handling package that provides more feedback while maintaining close to OEM comfort, NVH" :-)

I'll wait for the packages once we get more choices on dampers like Koni Yellows etc.

I think I've pieced it together from threads here...and its similar to what Kelly posted. But I'm not sure as I have never driven a car with a single BMR or Steeda part - from what I've seen on these forums the quality, customer service and happy folks etc seem to be there for sure! From my experience in German cars one of the easiest way to 'ruin' a cars street ride and NVH is by going with super stiff bushings all around (not strategically like the BK055 RCA bushing) and track lowering springs - especially by mixing and matching willy-nilly with different manufacturers. It can ruin a car (For me). Also, some objective data on how the packs improve lap times from the firm on a given test track over OEM would be great! (Ok, I'm really reaching now). Yes, I understand this would be relatively unscientific.

One of our Performance Pack GT's has gained, consistently, 5-6 seconds at the "FIRM" here in Florida. Going from stock, to our full suspension system and Viking Rear Shocks.
