Here is a video I used when installing my tune from Wengerd using the rtd.


Your tuner should send you the rtd flasher software but if you didn't get it check the comments on that video. The first pinned comment is a link to download the rtd flasher program.

You will need:
Laptop (running Windows)
RTD Flasher Device
RTD Flasher Software (read/write tunes)
VCM Scanner (record data logs)
Tunes (duh)
VCM Scanner Channels (this will tell vcm scanner what data to record and what your tuner wants)

It's really easy. Just follow the video and the prompts on the rtd flasher software and it's hard to go wrong.

If you are having trouble setting up the hp tokens and getting your device registered I can help with that too.

Who says you need to buy 3k worth of fuel system? I haven’t done anything to my fuel system….

Also everyone knows you need a laptop. It makes sense you need a program and device to load the tune to your car. And it makes sense you need another program to do data logs.

Borrow a friends laptop if you don’t have one? Maybe you can find someone to let you use their RTD device? Idk but it really isn’t that crazy. OfferUp probably has some cheap laptops, you don’t need anything fancy.

Have windows lap top and already tuned with e85 lth.Used sct which took me awhile to do.Added a steeda pro flow closed intake now and seen great results on other wengerd tuned mustangs Just making the change to the rtd is a learning process for this 60 year old man lol.
