I figure I'm a whole lot safer at the drag strip than I am out redassing on the freeway. I don't sweat the insurance.
It definitely depends on the individual circumstances. If I were to total loss my 08 with a crash and fire. That would be a 50G ass whooping. Not interested in going there.

Still debating if the few test and tune dates I can make is worth the trouble. Every damn date I could make last summer were rained out. Makes it tough to pull the wallet out.
