Also, when you remove the old spoiler, be prepared not to find clean holes.
The deck is is thin metal. Most likely there will be divots or dents around the bolt tightening points.
That will require holes filled, body filler, sanding and painting.
I’m just going to get the trunk lid repainted ... it’ll subtract those issues

I hear plugs painted with the proper touch-up paint isn't bad. Cheap too. Installed with sealant.

If you're OCD, that ain't gonna cut it though.
You’re right - i’m just going to get the trunk lid painted ... Best fix besides getting a new trunk lid

Or you could make a piece like the one that comes with this wing from APR that covers the middle holes or ask APR if they would sell you one.

I actually will consider this, i tried contacting them on IG. I’ll have to give them a call during the week. Brilliant idea, and I’m sure it covers up everything

I think the word plugs sounds worse than they might look.

Someone could always hide the plugs with some of those nifty decal bullet holes ..... bang bang

Kidding of course

I don't honestly think that looks better than plugs would. To my eye it would simply shout "I'm covering up holes" especially on a white car.
I'd have a good custom painter fix the holes and paint it. The paint match will be perfect and the quality of the job will likely put the factory job to shame.
At least that's my experience from having a custom painter redo the front bumper on my Electra Glide.

I think you'll have more into patching and painting the existing lid than finding salvage yard Replacement from say a base model with no spoiler of the same color.

I could always have it wrapped white ...

That could work too. You might get some slight depressions where the holes are but you'd have to be close to see it. And if you ever decide to put the spoiler back on, easy...

I meant i can wrap the center cap shown above. instead of having carbon fibre it would be a white bump. less noticeable ... They can wrap over holes though? Not sure how effective that would be against rust ... I’ll talk to the shop what my options are.. otherwise i’ll just weld and repaint the trunk lid lol

Will still look like a big plug covering holes...
Probably cheaper than doing it right though.
If it were my car I'd see it as a compromise every time I looked at it.
But it's your car, you know what you can live with.

It would be virtually invisible until someone runs their hands on the trunk lid. The car is already so gorgeous, no one would even notice a tiny white hump

You will, every time you look at the spoiler.
