Before the search the forum comments, I have been reading up here for the past 2 months since I bought my EB Mustang. The thing is, I'm not looking for maximum power. I'm not looking to take my Mustang to the track, or to get some numbers off a dyno to brag about.

What I am looking for is, safely opening up some more power for a daily driver, so I would want it to be very streetable, but with some more oomph. It won't see any snow or ice, but will see rain. It will see temperatures between 0 and 100 since I live in KY, but most of the time temperatures range between 50 and 80. I'd prefer not to have to reprogram it between seasons. Also, 93 octane is available everywhere here.

I'd appreciate recommendations for tunes and an explanation of why you recommend the particular tune.

Cobb AP is the go to tuner. Has many functionalities - datalogging, monitoring different parameters, switchable maps on the fly, stuff like launch control, shift lights, 91, 93 maps, valet mode. Not to mention you can do custom maps on the cobb.

The most well rounded tuner along with Cobb's support and history.

This is probably the 50th thread on tuner choice. I recommend looking at Lund (nGauge)or Adam at Tune+ (Cobb). I prefer Cobb's hardware so Adam is tuning my car, feel free to check my build below.
Yes, I know there are tons of threads about this and I apologize for starting another. However, unlike most people, I'm not interested in maximum power. Just want to get a sandbag or two out of the stock tune and keep it very safe. I've had to replace a motor before after a tuning mistake about 10 years ago.

Edit:
I'm definitely getting the idea that a Cobb tuner, and then work with Adam will probably be a good idea.

Thanks guys

I personally have the Cobb AP and I have Adam(Tune +) tuning my car. He's great to work with plus the car feels amazing now. But for what you want you may not even want a tuner. You might just be satisfied with an OTS tune. I used the Cobb 93 OTS tune for about two months before I decided on Tune +. The car felt great, I could really tell the difference from the factory tune and it def gave it a lot more power.

I think I'll order the Cobb AP from Maperformance so I'll get their tune along with the Cobb tunes. Then I can also work with Adam if I want some customized tuning.

Their tune is Adam's baseline tune from when he worked there.
That was my understanding. That's why I was thinking if I went with them it would be very easy to work with Adam if I want some customization.

In 10 years they have come a long way, u won't be disappointed with Adam. Come just sold my SCT and now I'm waiting to buy the Cobb and switch to Adam. Should of done it from day one, but I was being cheap and wanted to save the $100

Doesn't matter who you buy the access port from. Adam has his own tuning service.

Can we make a tuner sticky please? Only 2 feet deep so nobody drowns...

I went with Cobb for the data logging and live monitoring. Adam tunes my car.

Forget about getting the tune from Maperformance, I purchased the accessport from them and emailed them for the free tune and didn't even get a reponse back. Its been more than 2 weeks. Won't be buying anything rlse from them.

I've got the Cobb ordered. I'll work with Adam to get it where I want it.
