I was reading on Adam's site that I'll need to do 3rd gear runs to redline. I was wondering, in a non PP automatic, how fast will it be going in 3rd at redline?

I have the PP and I think I'm always around 90-95ish. I've never really paid attention to the speed lol.

I'm going to be switching to the Accessport soon, does anyone know with the on the fly map switching, how do you know what slot your on? Is this something you just have to always remember in your head? Or is there some sort of indication?

They use the RPM gauge when you switch. When you hit cancel and use the cruise control buttons to change it the gauge will move to which ever slot you're selecting 1-5.

tuners and tunes

Here are some HP and TQ numbers from various tunes and tuners I've looked up over the net. Keep in mind that these are numbers reported from the companies making the tunes, most of these companies offer more than one tune, and some of these companies offer custom tunes.

COBB using the Accessport V3 Tuner: Slot #5 - Economy = 225 hp, 240 TQ peak. Slot #4 - Low Boost 251 HP, 333T, peak. Slot #3 - Medium Low Boost = 257 hp, 353 TQ peak. Slot #2 - Medium High Boost = 269 HP, 365 TQ peak. Slot #1 - high Boost = 279 HP, 378 TQ peak. Bama using the X4/SF4 tuner; Performance Tune = +20 peak hp (I couldn't find TQ figures for their Performance Tune), Race Tune = 25 HP peak, 44 TQ peak (44 HP, 60TQ under the curve). Unleashed Tuning using the X4/SF4 tuner = 277HP, 394 TQ peak. Roush 91 octane tune = 44 HP, 42 TQ under the curve. MAPerformance = 22.9% HP, 25.6% TQ gains. SCT using the X4 tuner = 44 HP, 42 TQ under the curve. Livernois tune and intake = 90 HP, 90 TQ - offers four different tunes. Steeda CAI and Tune = 47HP,77 TQ under the curve.

Once I get the tune installed, how will it affect the normal, sport+, track mode settings?

Their tune is Adam's baseline tune from when he worked there.
This is not accurate, I don't know what tune they are supplying as I didn't provide them any 2016 tunes but they are mailing some out.

You can do 2nd gear if you like, I prefer 3rd so there is no wheel spin and more load range.

They are no effected, they still make the same changes. They are all throttle/transmission related. They do not change the engine parameters at all.

Can it be done on a dyno with your remote dyno tuning? Seems like it would probably be the safest and most convenient way to do it.

Yup, remote dyno tuning is $50.00 per hour. Usually takes about an hour, this would require an E-tune purchase as well. ($150/$250)

That sounds excellent. Looking forward to working with you once my Cobb comes in and the weather improves a little. Been driving the Jeep for the past week.

I took the stock EBM over to the shop and put it on the dyno to get stock numbers, but they didn't have the 70 mph fan on it so it definitely didn't put up good numbers and suffered terribly from heat soak. I've ordered an upgraded intercooler, and just installed the tune from Adam. The IC should be installed later this week and we will be dyno tuning it with the big fan on it.

Just one question right now. What do the different slots do with the tune from Adam installed?
