When I asked for options, what I was really wondering about were options such as a different front fascia like the Roush. Whatever route I take, it will be fixed like new.
I'm definitely taking it to a body shop for a quote, but it is Saturday night and I have a while to think about it. Trying to get ideas of the different ways of taking care of it.
A big truck decided to throw a piece of retread at me today while going 70 mph on the interstate. It hit the front bumper. The damage isn't bad, but what are my options? The rest of the car is very close to perfect.
Here are 20mm spacers all around with the 20x9 Foundry wheels and 265/35R20 tires. I'm thinking about going to 23mm up front and doing the Ford Racing Street Handling Package to bring her down an inch.
Same affect as having 20mm less backspacing. The only drawback is twice as many lugs. It's a good idea to use some red thread locker on the studs that hold on the spacers. Just make sure to check them after about 50 miles, and a few hundred miles. Then check them each time you rotate the tires.
Thinking it will look perfect for what I'm wanting. Better springs than my non PP springs will be very nice too. She's getting there, just needs to be slightly shorter.
If the BMR EB performance springs give the slight drop in the first picture of that thread, they would be exactly what I want. Good handling and ride with just a little lower stance to go with the little wider stance I have now.
Thanks. I'm trying to make it look like I think it should have come from the factory. I want to lower it a tiny amount. Most that I've seen that are lowered are a little lower than I want to go. I don't want it to look lowered unless it is sitting next to a stock setup.
In my opinion, if you are going to lease, get the V6 or GT. Not much you can do to them without spending a lot, so you won't be tempted. Modifying a leased vehicle is generally not a good idea. If you are buying, and you are a tuner, look hard at the EB. The EB with an upgraded intercooler and a...
I just have his regular tune and it definitely fixed the shift problem. I'm going to get his transmission tune next. Should be nice considering what I've seen of his work so far.
A tune from Adam will completely change your car. The tune will make much more difference than an intake and full exhaust. You can also schedule and buy remote dyno tuning from him. Very easy way to fine tune your car in an hour or two.
Uninstall and reinstall the tune. It should help temporarily. I know they are working on a permanent fix. I'm waiting to hear if there is some progress.
