It'll honk if you leave the trunk / hood open, or ignition on.Going to check connections again. Also a weird think the horn honks twice when I close the door. Never did that before.
Everything is connected and tight.Going to check connections again. Also a weird think the horn honks twice when I close the door. Never did that before.
Ok Checked all connections. Still won't startIt'll honk if you leave the trunk / hood open, or ignition on.
Does it turn over?Ok Checked all connections. Still won't start
If I’m not mistaken there’s a connector for the traction system that you disconnect when you put the car on a dyno. It is right near where the airbox is and possibly underneath the airbox depending on the design of the K&N system. It finally started. now it says advanced track needs to be serviced. Any ideas why?
It did not show that advanced track needed maintenance until the car started. All previous attempts at starting never showed that and after I drove it, it feels like it is limp mode.If I’m not mistaken there’s a connector for the traction system that you disconnect when you put the car on a dyno. There’s literally nothing changing the intake does that would cause the car to not start. The MAF should install in one direction only. Any hoses you touch during the kit wouldn’t keep the car from starting but would probably cause it to run extremely rough.
A no start condition would be the result of a connection not being re-connected (sensors, battery, etc.), something being sucked into the engine and causing damage or seizing (you would know if that was the case and it would’ve turned over to begin with).
Is the MIL light on? Otherwise Installing a HAI is one of the simplest things to do. Double check the connection on the drivers side fender that sits to the left of the airbox as viewed from the front.it feels like it is limp mode.
Yeah I know. That's why I'm so frustrated...Is the MIL light on? Otherwise Installing a HAI is one of the simplest things to do. Double check the connection on the drivers side fender that sits to the left of the airbox as viewed from the front.
