You're comparing it to not using blankets, right?
No. I'm actually comparing it to the blankets that came from Hellion/TBR. Legit, night and day difference. I daily my car and I checked it both when I got to the gym (where it had plenty of time to heat soak with stop and go) and when I got home (after it had time to make a few spirited pulls). I wouldn't expect the IATs to stay that low on a hot summer day but the ambient under hood temps were noticeably different today.

Edited to add the picture. I ran it mixed like this yesterday with the new one on the passenger side which is what convinced me I had to make to sure I could get the driver's side on. The Hellion/TBR blankets aren't bad for the price and fit very easily. These take a little effort however, I truly did not expect this difference. Hence, why I had to follow up.

I was installing my thermal zero blankets that someone had recommended on this thread and the shop said they were to big. I have the v band, not sure that matters or not but how did you guys fit them? its the exact blanket in the pic above.
thanks

They fit. You just have to loosen the upper radiator bracket to push it back a little bit. I had a bit of a fitment issue at first on the passenger side. Once I was advised to do that, no problem at all. I already have a couple thousand miles on them too since I installed mine not long ago!

Edit For: I didn't read your prior post. I'm currently running a Corsa XTreme. It's perfect to me because the turbos quiet it down just a touch to that ideal level.

i just go my car back today after logging to take it to get gas. I can drive it around and already sent the data log with a WOT pull to 7K rpms. I am waiting to see what they respond with those pulls. I was looking at temps and just wana see if these are normal temps, I will list them

air/fuel ratio 14.1 at idle
cylinder head temp 208 F at idle
inlet air temp 89 F at idle
oil temp normal at idle
voltage 14.3 V

are these normal stats or should I be concerned of anything? also do you recommend a turbo timer

thanks
