that is one method.. another is using the whole side of your foot to basically fold down on the gas (1/2 and 1/2). Watch the video i posted by Matt F.
The size of your foot does determine how comfortable this is.. at least in my opinion

give both methods a try and see which feels more comfortable. There are auto rev matching units you can install, but I would not use those unless you are tracking a lot and really struggle with doing it yourself...
