I have a 22' GT with Stainless Works 1 7/8 LTH, high flow cats going into Borla Switchfire and the stock non-active exhaust. Car is boosted e85 and I get folks "rubber-necking" everywhere I go.

In fact, I've literally been run down on the highway and followed to the gas station with folks complementing the sound.

I've thought many times about adding an axel-back but I don't wanna mess it up...lol

I heard Switchfires on S650s, then sound tinny. Our two Mach 1s sound deep.

get a different tooner.
Its not a tuner issue, its the issue that the coyote is already well designed where conventional fbo in n/a doesnt do much. Coyotes like boost, if you want power do a boost adder of choice

Your off into the weeds now. You said "tunes don't add horsepower", when in fact, they do, without the add-ons. Granted, it won't be a huge increase ( as I previously stated ).

Where did i say tunes dont add power?
I said quite the contrary
I just said the coyote doesnt benefit from na mods much. If you want any real gains, you have to go boost. The other mods from a hp perspective arent worth the money at all

How much Horse Power could I obtain from a pair of fancy headers, high flow cats, full cat back Borla Atak with H or X pipes, and tune? Just remember , I did not say SC of choice. Just exhaust.

Youd make about 35whp give or take. Im assuming your gen3 coyote, which would mean about 500 crank hp

A lot of money for a little gain. Not including fix it tickets and the cost of fixing it. The way things are today I think it's best to go with just an H or X pipe and SC.

If you decide to supercharge it, headers would be considered mandatory unless you like blowing out your oem cats and cracking ringlands.

I would say very true. Ess makes one of the most budget kits for low power, then for 680whp area, any supercharger kit well speced will run 9-11k$ roughly, turbos 15k

Thats why i say for just performance, fbo tune is pointless on a coyote. Money better spent on boost. However sound is important to me so exhaust is too

Not true
The life of the cat would be reduced but if you stay on 93 gas and dont go crazy with the power, a conservative tune with cat protection enabled your cats should last a while. Stock cats are the second best, gt500 cats are best. All aftermarket cats dont last

But the cats are safe for short street pulls. Maybe for track racing it would be strained hard.

E85 id say definitely catless headers are in order

The most important thing is tune for boost. The tuner choice is your safety choice. Dont cheap out and choose well. I like wengerd tuning. The tune dictates safety margins and they determine how much power is “safe”

This is why I went Procharger with low to medium boost and not a Whipple. I don't expect to have over 600 horses, if even 600. Didn't get ma Mach 1 to race.

Oem cats are a ticking time bomb on boost, it is inevitable that they will fail and when they do, bye bye motor.

I know once I boost my car, it will be completely kittyless especially here in FL as I won't take chances like that.

Its good to not have them, with boost, but its a overblown problem. Pump gas power is fine. Shorter style pulls without excessive exhaust gas heat will not kill cats that fast. It will take 5+ years for any signs under aggressive street driving
