So the last thing I need to be fbo on my 19 gt is headers (plan on getting tuned by Lund) but I have read that the CEL will come on with catless headers, but also there are O2 sensors that will help with that now, can anyone confirm that?

Also what is the difference between catless and cattend? Is it big enough for me to care if I just go catted? Because I haven’t been able to find many catless in stock on multiple sites

If you use Lund they will not turn off the rear 02's. You can try to use a "defouler" which will remove the 02 sensor tip from the exhaust slip stream and might trick the computer into believing that the reading difference from the fronts to the rears means there's a catalytic converter in place and doing it's job, but I've heard the results are hit/miss.

EPA clamped down hard on the aftermarket off-road exhaust loop hole.
The days of retail non Catted systems is over.
You want Catless with long tube headers and no DTC you’ll need some good underground connections.
Going long tube Catted with EPA cert’s. is becoming extremely expensive for most of us.

There has been a concerted effort by the Government to crack down on Vendors selling parts/packages that do not comply with Federal Regulations/Emissions Standards!

No one wants to get caught and have to pay the fines. If you look at most of the Vendor sites you will see that they have been removing the 'catless' options from their stores.

If you want catless, you will have to probably buy a used set. If you aren't going FI, then a system with high flow cats shouldn't reduce your hp gains by much. If you do plan on going FI, then you will have to go with an expensive set of cats to withstand the EGTs and not melt.I run a set of Vibrant J shaped defoulers with no problems. Good luck.

What is FI? Forced induction? How do you tell the difference I’ll probably just end up going catted and grab some off lethal or AM

Yes, FI is "Forced Induction". Just be sure to plan ahead and buy accordingly. Buy once, cry once is my motto.

Hmmm who are the other popular tuners that do them?? Or ones with good rep/no problems I guess I should say
There is no such thing. Read through the noise of the vocal minority, especially when they are random people on a forum, people with axes to grind, or people with financial skin in the game. The product offered by Lund is good, as is that offered by the other major tuners.

No one should be turning off emissions related codes. If you have to go catless, then just live with the engine light. It’s not that big of a deal, really.

Lund will do you right, as will the other major tuners.
So they'll tune out the rear 02's?
