I would change out the belt for a new one and see if it still slips. The rubber shavings are a sign of belt slip or pulley misalignment.
I was wondering if @daSNAK3 was also suffering from belt slip, as I would expect more boost and more power with the 120mm pulley.
Also, for the video/sound...
I run the MT SS's on one of my cars (non Mustang) and the tires are quite heavy.
I do enjoy the traction that they provide, both on the street and on the strip.
My shop did complain to me that they were a _itch to balance out.
Maybe take them to another tire shop and see if you tossed a weight...

Thank you so much !!!
I had a 1971 Chevelle Malibu 350 that my dad sold while I went off to college.
Bucket seats, TH350 with the 'horseshoe' shifter on the floor.
Wish that I still it!!!

@Brevin@ESS,
Not sure if I missed your response to this question.
Can you share the Pressure Drop numbers across each of the 3 cores that ESS Tuning sells?
(G2, G3 & G4 Intercoolers)
Any additional technical specs are appreciated!!!

Mike,
How is shifting under power?
What shifter are you using?
Any 'clutch smell' after the boosted pulls?
I hope that you are enjoying that Whipple!!!

HKusp,
Thanks so much for sharing your real world experience!
I really appreciate the help!
So many choices with so many +'s and not many -'s!!!
Thanks again!

19BULLITTwhipple,
The sidewall of the tire is very important for traction, the softer and higher it is, the more it will flex under load. As the sidewall flexes, it takes up some of the 'shock' that the engine is putting to the tires themselves. That's why some people recommend the 'Bias Ply'...
RonsterGT,
Beautiful '86 that your son has there! Looks like it has been well maintained and preserved!
Don't be surprised if you get more than the advertised HP and TQ increases with the Vortech kit!
I had a V1 S-Trim on my '88LX 5.0 and it was a great addition. I had some engine work done...
