If you go with a wet system, no need for bigger injectors. A wet setup taps into the fuel rail and sprays additional fuel right with the nitrous out of the spray nozzle.

Hey chitown you still happy with your Livernois tune? im gonna tune mine this spring
Yes I am, runs great! Strong on E.
Sometimes I wish 10-speed shifting was smoother but lately been good.
If getting it with 10-speed ask for Softer shift version

No. Spend the same money at Joliet. Or Blackhawk Farms or Gingerman. You're sitting on an embarrassment of riches.
And Road America is just a couple hours away too. We are lucky, we have several tracks within just a couple hours drive.

Agreed, I think the winter is make me stir crazy!
Same here, this time of year really sucks! The service manager at my local dealer keeps trying to talk me into the FP SC kit. I keep saying not yet, but then I go back and ask more questions and talk to him more about it LOL.

Nice!

Catted long tubes do sound good but theyā€™ll be really loud. A Borla resonator (or the stock resonator) will help tone them down but theyā€™ll still be really loud. Thereā€™s a guy at my church that has a Gen 1 coyote S197 with catless long tubes, X pipe and Flowmasters and itā€™s ear bleeding loud. Not for me but to each their own.

Yeah, headers are out for me.
I think my neighbors will hate me and I wonā€™t enjoy the car as much with anymore interior sound volume than I have.
Wife wonā€™t want to drive in it either.

So, will LTHs hook right up to an otherwise completely stock factory active exhaust car?

If so, what would be the result in terms of sound change?

And, would there be a power gain? I keep reading that LTHs alone donā€™t offer much if any power increase. I guess like usual Iā€™m stuck in old times because back in the daze headers sure made a difference. I guess maybe factory exhaust manifolds have come a long way.

They say 25rwhp
They will be much louder even with the cats.
No cats add more volume and not much more power NA.
They bolt up to stock exhaust but will probably cost ~$1000 to install

I gained about 20 whp on my 17 gen 2 running 93 with out a tune. You can see a little more if you tune for it and gen 3's might gain a little more.

As far as hooking up with a factory AE exhaust, I'll let you know. I have a set of long tubes I just bought sitting in the garage waiting for install.

Are the cats part of the factory exhaust manifold setup such that catted LTHs are pretty much a direct one-for-one bolt up swap?

Donā€˜t mean to make the install sound easy and donā€™t doubt your cost estimate. Iā€™m guessing that the engine has to come off the mounts and be jacked up a bit for the LTHs to go in.

The LTH with cats or LTH without cats are part of the headers and replace the area of pipe with your factory cats.
I believe the labor is mostly trying to unbolt and bolt onto the engine block.

For what itā€™s worth - I have LTH, corsa double-x pipe and factory Mach 1 AE on my GT. It sounds glorious, emissions ready and with quiet mode programmed from 9pm to 9am - the neighbors donā€™t hate me haha

I have the Livernois flex as well and have no regrets. Makes the car feel like a big dog trying to pull you on the leash.
