Ordered a set of stainless power headers from terry at beefcake racing earlier this week and if they arrive I'm going to tackle the install this weekend.

Already have the car up on stands and the factory manifolds off the car.

My question is to those who have installed these headers how many studs did you leave in the head?

I'd like to keep them all in but have read some people can't get them on, however if you watch LLMRs install video they say they left all the studs in the head.

I have everything else pretty much good to go, like removing AC line bracket. I tried searching but didn't find much info on the studs.

I have similar headers and I have all the studs in the heads. I had to take out all but two studs on the passenger side to slide them into place but I put them back in once I had the header hung on the two studs.

What two studs did you leave in to hang the header?

I used all the studs on mine also with stainless power headers. The only ones I had to take out were the 2 lower rear studs to get the header in place then I re-threaded them back in the head.

On the passenger side make sure all the nuts are started before tightening any of them down. I tightened the bottom then went to the top side and there is not enough clearance to install the nuts over the studs after it was tightened down. I also removed the battery and the access panel to get to the passenger side top nuts easier. I had access to all but 1 stud on the driver's side from underneath the car. Start with the passenger side also. It makes the drivers side a breeze to install.

Be careful jacking the motor up also people have broken the IMRC solenoids on the back of the intake manifold.

I took out a few studs (don't remember which) because there wasn't enough clearance between the stud and primary to get the bolt on/off.
