Take a credit card and pull the rubber over the headliner see if it holds unless the headliner is cut too short.

I just saw that the exposed area now looks like what is in your photo. I redid the weatherstripping again to cover the area. If it redevelops, I will be taking it in because I think the weatherstripping is maybe contracting because of aging.

Thanks guys worked like a charm. Will keep an eye on it to make sure it stays in place. Can't believe it was such a simple fix

So what worked like a charm?
I just noticed this issue on my ride and I'm past warranty. I'd like to fix it myself...

I just did what cobrajet and jasonstang did. I pushed the headliner up toward the roof and pulled the weatherstripping to overlap the headliner. A credit card sliding along the edge of the headliner and under the weatherstripping should do it. It's been 2 1/2 years and no recurrence Hope this helps!
