I just installed the Hurst Pistol Grip shift lever on the 10 speed automatic, looks much nicer than the factory plastic shift lever. Simple install that does not take long.

SR performance shifter from American Muscle. Good price and looks like it came from the factory. Plus I like that it sits lower than the stock automatic shifter from Ford.

White madness. Black metal flake makes it look smudgy in the pics.

I'm fine with people changing things for looks but I put you guys that do this in the same category as guys who put gt badges on a v6.

Nothing wrong with people changing out the shifter levers on their cars, be it an ecoboost, V-6 or a GT, the stock shifter lever is not much to look at in any of the models. Personalizing your vehicle is not a bad thing.

You know there was a time when a four cylinder offenhauser won the Indianapolis 500 27 times.

So much better than the stock one.

Can we get custom ones made for the A/T ? I have a couple of ideas for one and I’d like to see how much it would cost.

Bill, that looks really good. May I ask, does the Hurst trigger mechanism feel as smooth as factory? Any rattling or vibrations? Looks super, nice upgrade.

Very Nice.
One of the more pleasing changes I made to mine was the shifter.

I have a very similar shifter I bought off American muscle, along with the same shift boot that I removed the reverse lockout from, but I couldn't get a ziptie to hold the leather onto the shifter like in this picture, so, it's on the shelf ready to go...any tips on actually making the leather stay put? Glue maybe?

I like that and have the 10R80. Whats involved in the install? I changed out the knob on my 2019 6spd.

Not the same shifter, but I assume the process is similar. Looks to be fairly easy

The shifter when you first install it the button might be sticky but once you start using it the button frees up and is not an issue, there are no rattles from the shifter. I used the button and shifted the shifter about 50 times and it freed it up nicely.
