Modding the automatic shifter housing

Has anyone ever come across a nice mod (other than the two widely available overlay pieces) for the black plastic P RNDS piece within the automatic shifter housing? I realize it’s difficult because the letters are illuminated when the lights are on...but I’m hoping someone has figured out a solution.

Honestly have not seen any mods for this piece. Most folks just swap out the manual trim. What were you thinking of?

Good question...something similar to the attached pic...or a classy laminate wrapped around the two pieces.

I bet you can get a decent glossy look by carefully applying a piece of thick clear packing tape over it and then using one of the overlaps like the CF-look one posted above, as ghetto as it sounds you would probably get a nice effect
