I asked about it, they said theres not enough room to make a good looking enclosure to accommodate size and space of their matching tw3 sub.

this was before I sold my jl stealth box to buy the double tw1 box

TW3 box sounds amazing, it really does. but the TW1 dual box, its not as musical of a sub by itself, cant handle as much juice by itself, but theres more cone area, and that means more sound.

1 tw3 > 1 tw1
1 tw3 < 2 tw1
2 tw3 > 2 tw1 or 1 tw1
There's no replacement for displacement.

Thank you very much, @NGOT8R ! Greatly appreciated. BTW, do you even drive your car? I could eat off that undercarriage!

So it looks like the fuel tank is underneath the left passenger seat, behind the driver. Of course I'd be extremely careful and drill from the bottom, but I should be able to sink a couple of inserts in this general area, circled in red.

LOL! The story with my car is, I bought it new in Oklahoma on 07/10/20 with 34 miles on the odometer, drove it home (336 miles). Drove it 101 miles the next day and tore it apart to perform extensive mods. It has 471 miles on it right now. I very much want to drive it, but I have been waiting on a replacement set of headers to arrive (should be here tomorrow). There were fitment issues with the first set. Hopefully I can drive it soon.

You are correct; the area circled in your photo is the area that you can install the inserts.

Wow, it's brand new! I figured if you had a car THAT clean up on jackstands, it wasn't for an oil change. You were probably doing major surgery on it like a supercharger or the like. Thanks again for the pics. :)

You can get boxes for both sides here:

https://store.audiodesignscg.com/product/2015-2019-mustang-subwoofer-box/

These are stacked built so they should be strong despite the odd shape:

https://www.audiodesignscg.com/show/2016-ford-mustang-gt-audio-upgrade/

I bought the amp rack looked great from the top, just disappointed the underside was unfinished, just bare MDF. One leg or stand-off was out of place so I had to trim it to keep rack from teetering.

So anyone interested, ask questions about the finish of the back and bottom sides.

All is good now or will be after I spray the bottom black after I drill my larger cable holes
Well I’ll be damned! Thank you for posting that! I’ll be looking into them this weekend.
Thanks again!
Ken

Went custom fiberglass enclosure to accommodate the depth the the 12in sub required. Really wished JL audio would do a stealth box for a W6 or W7.

Yes they are , hit good , they are paired to a jl amp , the box is enclosed a fits like a glove . I have nothing sucuring the box in and it does not move . Zenclosures makes a kick ass product with some great options .

Cool. Those are the same subs I have waiting to go into a box. I can't buy the Zenclosures. I'm annoyed that they don't ship to Canafa.. So I have to try and copy one based on pictures I have seen and measurements I have taken. I have it drawn up in CAD. Ready to cut wood now. Just have to find the ambition to get the wood and get it done.
