That is very interesting. Mine is HP too. It feels like you don't have the appearance package as well as the elite package which maybe causing this delay. Appearance package should not be an issue but maybe something in the elite package that seems to be concerning?I was thinking that, just got HP, Recaros, and red painted calipers. Also thought maybe had something to do with dealer allocation?
Either way, both happy for you and jealous.
Thank you for the kind works. This is definitely motivating and what you describe is the reason why I haven't canceled it yet. I really really like it and after watching reviews for months, I like it even more. You’re in California so winter weather is not a concern. I can understand the argument for our friends in the Midwest or northeast. I wouldn’t be thrilled about taking delivery just in time to park it for 4-6 months, the whole time paying insurance on it and you can’t even drive it. But you won’t have that issue. If you want to fly up to Everett I’ll pick you up at the airport. I’d be surprised after a quick spin in my car if you want to wait until next year to get yours
I’m sure there are people that the Mach 1 just doesn’t do anything for. Maybe it’s the appearance or maybe they are used to driving something even more fun. But for me I keep going in the garage staring at it. And the times I do take it out I have to remember that the windows aren’t tinted yet and I don’t want to let other drivers see me giggling like a girl. I pass a school on the way to work and two days ago I had a dad dropping off his kids about break his neck looking at the Mach 1 as he passed by. I can only imagine the suffering he must be going through probably wanting something like this car, while driving a Honda Pilot. And that isn’t the first time I’ve seen someone completely stop paying attention to the road to check it out. A car that gets that type of reaction is worth getting as soon as you can. Don’t wait until next year if you don’t have to![]()
It just sucks that i wont be able to drive it for a good 3 months more after having waited for 2 already, and this is if I go with the best case scenario for my car. The bay area is nice and fortunately this doesn't affect me as much folks on the east end but it gets darker much early and I get to mostly drive in the evenings. I guess I have to recalibrate my driving schedule so I can take some time off and do some trips.
Thanks for the wise words though. Just need some good news!
