I would think if they didn’t have the chips they wouldn’t have opened the factory.

that’s a noble deduction! But they have yards full of vehicles waiting for chips so I would think with all the orders and dealer stock being behind for so long if I was the factory I wouldn’t wait for the chips to build Hundreds of thousands of vehicles rather than just building them now storing them and when the chips come in quickly put them together to ship them out. Every dealer I know here in NY is hurting bad. Almost zero stock, showrooms empty.

it makes perfect sense to completely pump out vehicles that takes hours or days to build even if you are missng a chip that will take 10 minutes to install. and what little chips you get in, you put into customer orders and/or high end high margin vehicles (mach 1, GT500s, F-250s, etc)

no need to worry. QA works 8-3 with 1hr lunch break at 10:45. For the rest of the 24hrs it was sub-contracted out to Penrickton Center For Blind up the street for their work-study program.

Those aren’t specks of dirt in the clear coat. It’s instructions in Braille for the assembly guys to align the panels
