Has anyone ordered a Mach 1 yet

and looking at Zach's numbers in the other post, I doubt that a single car has been ordered in the config that I want. RR, premium, stick, handling pack, red calipers, all the bells and whistles except the JFG appearance and auto.

My order is similar to yours! RR, cloth recaros, stick, handling pack and red calipers! The only difference I guess are premium and the recaros!

In a perfect world they build the cars in order. But supply issues have a big influence on this, especially right now. Certain options are going to potentially push your order behind other cars even if you ordered before them.

I ordered the handling pack and I’m concerned about mine. I know they stop making cars with Cup2 tires between November and February - so will that potentially push my order up, to make it a ‘21, or will Ford just give up on it because of how little chance there is to make the car before November.

I really hope Flat Rock opens up soon.

I hope you get yours built ASAP. I have no way of knowing but I suspect when they reopen tomorrow Ford is going to be pumping out cars as fast as possible. They are not going to want to give guys like you any extra time to walk away and buy something else. Supply issues can always prevent them for building all the cars they intended to but I think they will try to get as many of the Mach 1’s built as possible. Plus it’s not going to look good to the bean counters who probably hate projects like the Mach 1 if they promised them they could build let’s say 8-10k cars this year and only build and sell 4K

I'm not sure how ordering works but I guess my car got caught in the chip shortage and then they shut the plant down. I think they're opening it up tomorrow but it's supposed to be built Monday it's 21st I think

I didn't see many February order dates mentioned in this or other topics as not have been built yet, mostly furthest back is March, for US cars. Mine's November 2020 so I hope we'll get some early dibs on European cars too.

Now all of them will be built like the ones that are built the day before the Christmas holidays, summer vacations etc

you do realize you bought a Ford, yes? By the worst (or at least unaccountable) workforce in Michigan... Because all the EB/GT are such examples of Ford perfection and quality control... Nobody on the floor cares/notices whether the car going down the line is a Mach1 or GT360/GT500 or EB/GT.

Went ahead and traded my 2012 Boss 302 in for the Mach 1, seeing how the used car market is so crazy right now. It’s gonna be a long summer without a fun car, but in the end it’ll be worth it!
