OMG this is exciting! I haven't even looked under the hood of my car yet and you all are talking about some surprise that nobody knew until now? :headbang:

Winner. Joe - you know the first pic you sent me - you can see a mustang through the hole - lol.

I'm going to say there is a Cobra on the bottom of the hood instead of the pony like regular s550's
Since he said "shot fired" I figured it was something with the pony under the hood as well. Probably something like this.

You know, because they didn't know about the 2016 Camaro SS yet.

Well here's a thought. I seen that hub also and guess what it probably is, from a suv or truck since it's a heavier bearing. I doubt you'll see a AWD mustang. I see a lot of vehicles with a splined from hub. I don't think that this is a shot heard around the world.

I don't think this is as significant as you guys are making out. Having the same hub front and rear could be a cost saving measure. The prototype mules had the same thing visible.

That's all well and good for you guys that want it, but I just can't get excited about an AWD Mustang. It's the way everything is going, so I wouldn't doubt that it's true.

Pat numbers aside, I think there is an explanation for this that has nothing to do with AWD mustangs. I would guess that its a shared hub.
It would agree. More then likely a shared hub.

The part number is unique to the Mustang, specifically front hub. It looks like it could be for an AWD version of a Mustang. An AWD EcoBeast GT500? I'm not hoping for it, but I've never known Ford to not do things on purpose.
