I haven't read anything negative about the motor Mounts. Many people do it. It's a very minimal change.
That's what i plan to do when I install my FI. The only reason I will most likely go with the new Whipple, heavy duty Heat Exchanger and possibly a Chill Kill system but only if I get premade AC lines which connect the systems and not the cheap clamp on set up. I plan to mostly run hard on the street, and Instant torque is my friend and what I have always liked the most. Otherwise I would buy a Centrifugal set up which would be so much easier to install. Good luck

Some people claim of clearance issues when they lower the motor 3/4" but I didn't have that issue. No one TMK, has ever proved what it hits either so that makes me believe they are just wahmen who don't like NVH.

Yeah, let's have some folks give opinions who have actually done the mod.

The RHD brace kits comes with these spacers to clear the (slightly different RHD) cowl brace :

I would guess they are about 10mm but if you are interested I can confirm an exact measurement - just let me know :like:

All the non performance models come without braces.. they are just fine. Mine didn’t have a brace, I added one thinking I’d notice the difference and I absolutely did not. Granted I’m not taking turns at high speeds, but I didn’t notice anything after adding it.

The strut to cowl brace is the important one. It is the one that goes from the firewall to the struts. If you have this brace you really don't need the strut to strut one.

Unless you just like the look.

Lowered engine ='s lower CG, not by much, but some.

For what it's worth, when Magnusson installed a blower on my 2011 GT, they had to remove the strut tower brace. I missed it because of the way it looked, but not because it was less stable. (Not a drag racer.)

I bought a GT strut tower brace from Roush for my wife's 2020 GT. (They evidently sell the parts they remove for there kits on Ebay) Definite difference in front end handling with stock 235 Pirellis when cornering.

Most important. I agree if you only have one, the strut to cowl makes the most difference. But ~triangles rule.

Dealer is installing the Roush Phase II. I have the Performance Pack. That has the strut tower brace. The brace no longer fits because of the SC. I called Roush and they were NO Help. Unfreakingbelieveable.

Does anyone have a solution for a tower brace that will fit over the SC? Gotta solve this ASAP as I'm picking up the car next week.

Really appreciate the help.
The guys at Steeda suggested this to me.

While I’m down with Steeda, I think the lower brace tackles a different issue than the shock towers moving. ...maybe it will fill the gap in feel so much you’d never be able to tell, idk.

I don’t think it’s a replacement so much as just something else to buy.
