Got a cheap H pipe from CJ's. Removal of the factory resonator etc. Anyways it's not much of a difference sound wise than when the suit case was on there. I was expecting it to be a little louder? Only benefit I see is it lost a little weight. Does it get louder over time?

I will be getting headers in about a year so I don't want it to obnoxious. I took off my Extremes once the FRPP2 went on. The raspiness got to be too much for me. It would be crazy loud with headers.

probably be hard to tell with stock mufflers but removing the resonator should have made it a little louder.

I did that too.. but bought mine from AM. Anyways, yeah not too loud @ idle.
Cruising is a bit louder, WOT is a beast.. loud! Loud! Loud! This is with cats &
stock mufflers. The mufflers will get louder over time.

Have you tried to drive harder? I mean it should be louder when you get on it.

CJ sold a bunch of the H-Pipes below and refunded everyone who purchased them. Perhaps that's why there's not much of a difference sound wise. There's not a big difference in the decibel level at idle, but there's a noticeable increase at medium to heavy throttle.

The cheap CJ H-pipe I installed, was definitely noticeably louder at idle and under power with otherwise stock exhaust/mufflers.

I bought the Heartthrob H-pipe, it was extremely loud while paired with Roush axle back. Went back to using resonator.

I think the H-pipe sounds fantastic when it's paired with Flowmaster American Thunder.

Sw catback. Loud and proud. Res delete and stock mufflers are too quiet imo.
