What did you all pay to get the H pipe put in? I'm talking about getting it yourself, then having a shop install it. Curious, before I start checking locally.

Not sure it answers your question, but I paid $200 for parts and labor to have a shop cut out my resonator and weld in a magnaflow generic x-pipe and the pipe needed.

An H pipe resonator delete is pretty easy to do. Just need a lift (could be done on jack stands though), ratchet/socket and a sawzall.

It should only take less than an hour to do so if you take it to a shop I don't see it being more than an hours worth of labor.

Let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.

Thanks!

If you have the ability to do it yourself, do. I had mine welded in and it was $100, not including the cost of the X pipe.

I can do it, but when it comes to car mods, time/opportunity/motivation don't generally hit me for a period longer than i'd like. Stuff like that invariably takes me three times as long as it should too.

I have another vehicle so it'd be worth my while to just drop it off somewhere and let a pro handle it.

Thank you all for the replies!

Time vs. Money. Only you can answer what's worth it to you. On jack stands it will probably take about an hour, just due to it being a little more difficult to maneuver tools and stuff. It also took about an hour for mine to be welded on too. If a shop just does the cut/clamp, you'll be in and out in about 30 minutes if done on a lift, but will probably just charge you a flat rate.

No welds, should be less than 100 or leave.
