The manual states the following on basically popping the clutch. “When holding the throttle pedal fully depressed, the release of both paddle shifters simultaneously results in an aggressive launch of the vehicle.”
Has anyone tried this? It’s sounds like it could get really interesting fast!!!

Sounds fun lol. I'd guess it might just be like a shortcut to launch control? Unless it lets you just dump it at 7500 rpm but that seems nuts lol.

I have thought about this since I saw it in the video included with the owner's kit, but have not had the intestinal fortitude to carry it out! About 12:25 in this video it is explained in detail.

So we’re talking pull/hold both paddles then floor it then release both paddles?
trying to mimic a clutch dump launch?
I’ve heard Ford doesn’t let a free idle rev over a set rpm like 4K?
Might be a short cut to launch mode.
I definitely don’t see them letting you doing something damaging to the trans but someone has had to have tried this.

I've been curious about this as well. Wasn't sure if it was like doing a "neutral drop" like in a TH400 or if it was softer like dumping the clutch. Sounds like the video below says it's a good way to pop the clutch and launch. Still scary I'm sure with 760hp and $100k at stake.

Would have been nice if the video did a demonstration.

I've yet to see anyone do anything except pull the paddles and rev. No one ever launches it. Fear of 💣💥💨 most likely

Which is why Jeff should have done a demonstration, cause our luck we'd do it blow it, and then not be covered even though his video said we could.

In the video he also said you can modulate it with the brake. So pedal to the floor, rear wheels doing a burn out, and use left foot braking to slow the burn out or as he said, modulate the burn out. 12:55 mark. 2 footed burn out. I need to see a demonstration.
