I like to disassemble things.
Put us together on the track and all that power is negated and I take the win 99% of the time
What happens when you switch cars?

say what you want...but you and your dad got it goin‘ on!
My pop is cool as can be. We race together every week. He is a hell of a driver. I do my best to stay in front, luckily my car is just easier to drive well. His car is crazy fast and a monster to drive. That thing tries to kill you on every corner. Takes serious balls to drive it to the limits.

The gt500 shines so much better on the longer tracks with open straights. When it comes to lots of corners the gt350 is right at home

Sorry fellas should have clarified. It’s a 2020 gt500. My 350 has a whipple and is tuned to 789rwhp.

I watched a Ford Exec turn a 10.2 in a drag race. I dont hink I have heard any stock 350 go that fast. And he is not a pro

...do we care?
Wow. I guess not. Better to not consider the possibility that things might not be the same the other way around. Close minded thinking FTW.

I would expect the GT500 to win easily unless there are some other mitigating factors.

Ummmmm, his GT350 is putting down 789rwhp.
yeah 790 rwhp to gt500 stock 650 rwhp, along with being 250 lbs lighter, his voodoo is gonna walk the predator. in that hennessey vid, that voodoo is making 730 rwhp (850 crank) and it's pulling away from the 500. but be safe guys, ppl are more important than our quick thrills.

Just watched the Hennessy video.. Pretty much what I expected. I just wasn't sure if that dct would make up for the hp deficit. Clearly not.

Holeshot from a standstill will be important tho.. not sure who has the advantage there, bigger tire on the 500 but less weight on the 350.
Im guessing he's going to leave traction on, use drag mode and just hit the throttle (real exciting lol)
Im not one for the nannys so I think I'll just disarm everything and let my right foot be my traction control.... it seems like too much power is scrubbed off when the computer does it.

And if he's an amazing driver he will avoid excessive wheelspin. You can only hook up 789 rear wheel HP at very high speeds, on prepared surfaces, with non-street tires or some combination thereof.

And he has to shift. And the GT350 gearing isn't the greatest for fast launches.

So if the two drivers are equal and they start from 0 or a low speed the GT500 will tend to win every time. Unless you are doing a roll race from 60 mph or something, then the GT350 will probably win. At high speed, driver skill won't come into play and traction will be less of a factor.

That will be an interesting race, but I have to wonder for how long the FPC GT350 will survive at that HP level.
I thought I remembered some of the Tuners saying that the FPC was best left NA.
Maybe the 2nd generation engines are stronger or the Ring Gaps are better now for Boost??

lol, nah it ain’t that deep man...his 99% number is good enough for me!

Once we start second guessing, that game can be played all day long; switch drivers, long track/short track, wet surface/dry surface, new tires/old tires, etc. etc. etc.

...that’s all I was referencing
